Make the characters in the project-management SF novella people that we want to know about, and it becomes universally appealing by default.<BR/><BR/>For whatever that's worth. What do I know? The only evidence in a Grisham book that the man ever practiced law is on the jacket.<BR/><BR/>Honestly, my reaction to your review is that I'm not-so-much outraged about Deaver's writing as I am amused that it's finally happening to someone else's profession for a change.
