It's a brilliant story, and I recommend checking out Bisson's short story Bears Discover Fire, in which "They're Made Of Meat" makes an appearance. (The title story in Bears Discover Fire manages to be exactly as awesome as it sounds: it's about what happens when bears... discover fire.)
