A Random Thought.

My alarm will go off at 3:30 A.M...just 4 hours from now. Shawn has been arriving at work at 3:30A.M...his time...which is 4:30 A.M. my time?

The questions are:

-Has my sleep deprived brain screwed up the time conversion?
-Should I call Shawn at 3:30 my time to helpfully get him out of bed at 2:30 his time?

Just a thought.

Nope. I'll be pulling an all-nighter, recording a review video. So nah nah nah nah nah, nah.

And by noon, I should be ready to pass out. *sigh*

If you call me at 3:30 AM, it'll be 11:30 PM my time and I'll just be going to bed. You could tell me a bedtime story or something...

Something clean, you pervs.

Maybe you could get a pizza delivered to Shawn at 3:30 a.m.

Good luck with that... They roll up the sidewalks at 9PM around these parts. :)

3:30am?
What is this time you speak of?
(I am adjusting nicely to the ways of the day people..I don't even remember what 3:30 looks like. That's my story and I am sticking to it..until Mid-terms)

Ah yes, the days of going to bed at 2:30 and getting up at 2:45, summoned by a call from CIC. Fuck that.

There are days that I'm glad I'm retired from the military.

For seven months in Iraq there were periods where the only sleep I got was an hour, napping on top of the RHIB boat motor housing during the ride into country. The first time I was woken up by the forward .60cal cutting loose was the last time I did that.

I used to have an asshole non-combat shipmate who would come into the stateroom while I was trying to get my crappy two hours of sleep and start slamming locker doors and making noise. I'm an extremely light sleeper and it would jar me awake no matter how tired I was. He'd say stupid shit like "If you can't sleep when I'm making noise, you're not tired enough." You know who says stupid shit like that? Idiot Lieutenants who work the dayshift, that's who. After I bounced his ass off the bulkhead he was a whole lot more considerate.

Here's hoping things settle down sooner rather than later, and you can go back to getting a decent night's sleep.
