An Audio Book?

Kate asks in my comments:

"Hey Guys,

If I have some time over the next month, would you guys be interested in an audio version of Sophie from Shinola?

Perhaps in Podcast form? Let me know!"

I have a few reactions. First, Wow! What a cool bunch of people I've hooked up with. Second, I've mentioned before that I'm not usually a big consumer of Audio Books. For a few reasons, they're just not my choice on how to get my books. That having been said, I know that some of you are big fans of Audio Books and we already know that Kate is an awesome narrator/story teller, so I'm guessing you guys probably want it.

Weigh in in the comments.

Also, If anyone wants to volunteer to Illustrate the book, that's what would really float my boat.

Also, while we're on the subject, my next participatory writing exercise is taking shape in my pea-brain. It will be very different from Sophie and while I'm designing it to allow for your many varied writing styles and voices, it is intended to end as a much more complete and linear story. When the time comes, I'll clue you all in, let you all say who's in and then I'll post the first part.

Happy Sunday!

I'm not big into audiobooks, but I think it's cool someone wants to do one, and I'd listen to it. ;)

I've not yet gotten to read Sophie for the same reason I wasn't able to participate -- busier than a woodpecker at a pirates' convention. However, because with audio books I can be doing something else at the same time, I'd be able to catch up.

And that? Would be awesome.

I'd listen to the audio book. And probably put it on a CD that I put in when I have people in the car with me. You know, mixed in with some music, so it suddenly starts up without people knowing...
